The Logistics and Supply Chain Management Research Centre (LSCM), is situated within theSheffield University Management School.  The Management School has recently been awarded the “Triple Crown”, receiving AMBA, AACSB and EQUIS accreditations (a status being held by just 0.4% of the Business Schools across the world). LSCM Research Centre is a world class research centre which contributes to research programmes that have a combined value of £84 million.

LSCM Research Centre has enormous experience in delivering project within a multi-disciplinary team involving industry, businesses, government bodies and other academic institutions evident by some of the Centre’s flagship projects. Very recent projects include the ERDFfunded £15M BIG Energy Upgrade research project which delivered energy innovation for deprived communities through a multi-disciplinary team from the Centre and the University.  LSCM Research Centre also delivered the Centre for Low Carbon Futures Low Carbon Supply Chain project which produced the Supply Chain Environmental Analysis Tool (SCEnAT); an innovative carbon assessment and management tool for businesses.

The University of Sheffield was awarded the 2011 UK University of the Year from the Times Higher Education. It is a large institution with around 25,000 students and 5,500 staff. Over 93% of its research was considered as internationally recognised or World leading after the 2008 National Research Assessment Exercise. It is ranked within the top 10 universities in the UK.

Professor SC Lenny KohMS017 - Lenny Koh Professor SC Lenny Koh, BEng (Hons), PhD, is an Associate Dean, Chair, Professor in Operations Management, Founder and Director of the Logistics and Supply Chain Management (LSCM) Research Centre, Director of Faculty´s Centre for Energy, Environment and Sustainability (CEES), at The University of Sheffield, UK. She is the co-founder of Supply Chain Management and Information Systems (SCMIS) Consortium, a global network of leading academic and practitioners driving research and knowledge exchange on supply chain and information systems.Her expertise lies in logistics/supply chain management, particularly in; low carbon futures/industries, low carbon supply chain, energy supply chain, environment and sustainability science, and uncertainty management. She has produced a considerable amount of research in production planning and control, enterprise resource planning, and information science. Professor Koh holds a First-class honours degree in Industrial and Manufacturing Systems Engineering, and a Doctorate in Operations Management.
Dr Andrea GenoveseAndrea Genovese Dr Andrea Genovese is a Lecturer in Logistics and Supply Chain Management at the Sheffield University Management School. He is also a key member for the Logistics and Supply Chain Management (LSCM) Research Centre and the Centre for Environment Energy and Sustainability (CEES). Andreahas contributed to several research projects funded on the topic of Low Carbon Innovation for Supply Chains, like the Low Carbon Supply Chains research project from the Centre for Low Carbon Futures and the Big Energy Upgrade (partly funded by European Regional Development Fund).He holds a PhD in the area of Operational Research from University of Naples “Federico II” (Italy) and an MSc (with BSc) in Engineering and Technology Management from the same institution and an MBA at the Whittemore School of Business and Economics, University of New Hampshire (USA). Prior to his PhD, Andrea worked as Logistics Central Planner for a MNE operating in the tyres industry.
