TrainERGY presented at International Symposium on Logistics

The TrainERGY project was represented by Dr. T. Bartosz Kalinowski and Dr. Grażyna Wieteska during the 22nd International Symposium on Logistics, that took place in Slovenia, Ljubljana (9-12.07.2017).

Dr. Wieteska and Dr. Kalinowski introduced a paper highlighting the role of environmentally responsible managers in sustainable supply chain management. Presented research results have emerged as an outcome of one of the project’s intellectual outputs focused at identifying the energy efficient operations training needs in UK, Greece, Italy and Poland.

The International Symposium on Logistics (ISL) provides the unique forum for discussion between leading academics, researchers and practitioners who specialise in the area of logistics and supply chain management and who promote excellence in this field. Papers presented at ISL describe current business and academic thinking and case examples of successful implementations of ideas, models and concepts. The wide audience does benefit from the knowledge and experience shared by the noted practitioners and academics in this area.

The paper of the TrainERGY project team received a very good feedback from the audience, achieved a strong impact and interest of academic and industry representatives who attended this event.
