Olympia Electronics was founded in 1979. The company is active in developing innovative electronic safety and security systems by using state of art technology. The Human Resource of Olympia Electronics is 165 employees, with 10% in R & D department.

It is the dominant Greek enterprise in electronics safety and security industry and exports in 72 countries worldwide. Olympia Electronics is one of the oldest and largest Electrical & Electronics manufacturers in Greece. In 1981 it entered in emergency lighting manufacturing process while in 1985 entered in fire alarm manufacturing process. From 1990 the company keeps expanding its product range, following the global market demands and influenced by technology progress, while remaining the dominant firm in the market. OLYMPIA ELECTRONICS S.A. is aiming in the quality and has adopted production and inspection procedures that ensure that the products are totally in accordance with European construction prototypes (ΕΝ). Its products are certified from various laboratories such as : LPCB, VdS, TUV, H.E.E.Q.A.C, Lloyd’s Register, EVPU, ANCO, EMV, PHOENIX TEST LAB, LS, MIKES BABT or countries as UAE,GOST, EURO CERT e.t.c. and CE marking.

The company applies a complete management system IQMS “oly q” which includes quality management systems, as well as environmental, hygiene and personnel safety management systems. Also, it is certified according ISO9001, OHSAS 18001 and ISO 140001. Olympia Electronics, two times 2005 and 2011, has been awarded the EFQM’s Committed to Excellence award. EFQM’s Committed to Excellence is an assessment and recognition scheme that helps Olympia Electronics to  introduce an excellence initiative into organization and deliver improved results. The Award has been achieved as a direct result of the work done on the company’s processes and procedures, which have been carefully scrutinized by EFQM assessors on site, as well as interviews with in-house staff, business managers and assessors. Also since 2011 the company holds the bee bronze award of the European Business Ethics Network.

Ms Anna Daskalakianna500 Anna Daskalaki has been working in Olympia Electronics S.A. since January 2015 in Research & Development Department as the Electrical Engineer for Fire Detection Systems, Emergency Lighting Systems, Gas Detection Systems & Extinguishing systems for land and marine installations. She had been working as a Robotics Educator for children 8-16 years old and she is Robot Design Judge in the Robotics Competition, FFL Championship Tournament Greece (First Lego League Greece). She had been working as external partner in Alexandrer Innovation Zone S.A., helping startup companies improving their plans and leveraging the beneficiaries of governmental programs. She has attended a large number of Seminars, Workshops and Conferences in different thematic areas as her interests along with her expertise deal with Fire & Gas Detection in Buildings & Marine Installations, Energy Systems, Renewable Energy, Energy efficiency, Smart Grids, Robotics, Computational & Artificial Intelligence, Informatics, Electronics, Project Management and Innovation practices.
Ms Sissy Fotopoulousissy Fotopoulou Spyridoula (Sissy) has been working in Olympia Electronics S.A. since 2013 in the Supply Chain Department and today holds the position of the Supply Chain Manager. She speaks three foreign languages (English, French, Italian) and has been awarded four times by the Greek Mathematical Society. She has attended a large number of Seminars, Workshops and Conferences in different thematic areas as her interests along with her expertise deal with Logistics, Supply chain, Inventory management, Warehouse management, Current issues in Logistics and Supply chain, Project management, Information management, Energy efficiency, Indoor air quality issues, Green development and new technologies, Engineering, Statistics, Business economics and any current market issues.
